New Online Claim Submission Tool available now on Flex-Plan.com!
Participants now have the ability to submit claims and supporting documentation for Benny Card transactions directly through the participant online web portal. After registering at Flex-Plan.com, participants will enjoy the ability to enter claim information, upload documentation, and submit claims directly to Flex-Plan all with the click of a button!
Employee Communication Enhancements!
Flex-Plan Services released new employee communication enhancements November 2011 which included electronic notifications for:
Enrollment materials
Approved claims
Denied claims
Reimbursement checks issued or direct deposit initiated
Only participants who have provided a valid email address will receive plan information and electronic notifications for approved claims and reimbursements issued. Electronic notification of denied claims will be sent only to participants who have registered on our website.
Changes to OTC Medicines and Drugs: Effective January 1, 2011
Health Care Reform Update: effective January 1, 2011, over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and drugs are no longer eligible under FSAs or HRAs unless you have a prescription from a licensed health care professional. OTC medicines and drugs include items such as Advil, Tylenol, allergy medicine, antacid, etc. Items that are not OTC medicines or drugs (Band-Aids, gauze, saline solution, reading glasses etc.) are still eligible after December 31, 2010 without a prescription.
